There are also services for special occasions, either annual occasions with important themes or specific responses to particular events.  These services include our special Martin Luther King Shabbat, our Interfaith Thanksgiving Service held with the St Thomas Reform Church, or spontaneous gatherings such as hosting a service attended by the entire community on the Friday night following the attack on The Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, PA.

We remain very much in the middle of the COVID19 Pandemic.  Exactly when, and in what form, we will return to in person services in our building is still unclear. 

But we have met, continually, online and in other outreach, to serve the needs of our community, and we have engaged those on island and all over the world as we have moved to new ways of “coming together.”
